  • ·         The Guildhall is owned by the Parish of Cound 

  • ·         The DEEDS (4/3/1922) for the Guildhall are lodged in the Parish Councils Strong Box. 

  • ·         The SCHEME (1/7/2004), the governing document, outlines the Activities, Area of Benefit and 
                  Charitable Objects of the Cound Guildhall which is endorsed by the Charity Commission (number 214802)

  • ·         The underlying principles for the Cound Guildhall Management Trustees is specified in the MISSION 
                  STATEMENT (see the document below)

MISSION STATEMENT


» to promote and enrich the quality of
community life by provision of a facility
that will accommodate and enable access
to the varied and diverse; services, social,
cultural, educational needs of a rural
community.

» to manage the Guildhall in a financially
viable and sustainable
manner for current
and future residents of the Cound and
adjacent parishes.

» to maintain and improve the fabric and
grounds
of the Guildhall in a
environmentally efficient and sustainable
manner.
